Kristine and Gregory's Big Island Hawaii Elopement At Sunset - Kuki`o Beach

We had a wonderful Big Island Hawaii sunset beach wedding with Kristine and Gregory earlier this summer at Kuki`o Beach. This couple eloped with their friends back from college! - and asked if their longtime friend for over 20 years could co-officiate their Kuki`o beach wedding ceremony. How could I say no to this?!

Kristine’s friend made co-officiating very simple for the couple, writing a short script and stepping in and out of the ceremony. I performed the Hawaiian elements for Kristine and Gregory, such as the Blowing Of The Pu, Hawaiian Oli, Lei Exchange, and Ring Blessing, while Kristine’s friend performed a personal reading in the opening ceremony and another personal/spiritual reading after the exchanging of the vows.

It was lovely to be part of this intimate Big Island Hawaii ceremony for Kristine and Gregory, who were such an easy going and kind pair. Mahalo to these two for letting the Kona Wedding Officiant Team be part of their special day.
