A Look At Morning Weddings At Kuki`o Beach * Dina & Gerry

Dina and Gerry enjoyed a just beautiful morning wedding with their family at Kuki`o Beach. This couple decided on this location for its ease of access, beauty, and so that they could stay and enjoy this great location’s beach access after their wedding day.

Kuki`o Beach on Hawaii Big Island is such a great spot for both morning and sunset weddings, offering brilliant blue morning skies and crystal blue ocean waters - and intense,vibrant sunsets with straight on West Hawaii sunsets of pinks, purples, oranges. However, mornings hold my heart for many, many reasons. Before I go any further, as a disclaimer, I am not a fortune teller, but having performed many early weddings at this location and the following holds true almost all of the time.

Why Kuki`o Beach Is Great For A Morning Wedding:

Aside from having one of the largest public parking lots of all the beach locations, this lot is usually completely empty in the earlier morning hours (before 9am).

The beach, itself, is also generally empty.

The sky and the ocean are brilliant blue, making for just awesome photographs.

Since no one is around, you have your choice of where you want to have your wedding held.

There is no noise, no distraction, no competition and nothing but the sound of surf and your own wedding day.

It is not hot yet. It starts to get pretty hot around 9:30 - 10:00am, when you should be finished. This is also the time when everyone starts arriving and the beach starts to get “mildly” crowded.

You have the rest of the day to enjoy being married! No anticipating, no waiting! Married and off to have a splendid day!

If you aren’t convinced enough to wake up yet, then mornings might not be for you!
