Kelly and Tim were recently married in the gorgeous Pololu Valley on Hawaii Big Island. Pololu Valley is home to one of Hawaii's beautiful black sand beaches and is surrounded by sweeping cliffs, a river that leads out to the ocean, and a lush green trail with an ironwood forest set back behind the rocky/ black sand ocean entry.
Kelly and Tim chose a Hawaii Adventure Wedding with Kona Wedding Officiant®. For their Adventure Wedding, I recommended the morning, as I always do, so that we had the best chance of weather (rain is likely in the valley). Kelly and Tim were greeted by a beautiful day for their elopement.
Their Adventure Wedding Team for the day was Deanna DiMichele, owner of Kona Wedding Officiant and Liz Stapelton, one of Kona Wedding Officiant's Associate Photographers. There are some secluded areas along the backside of the valley trail where Kelly and Tim were able to change into their wedding clothes before the ceremony. After they were dressed, Liz began with this couple's pre-wedding photographs by the river as Deanna prepared for their ceremony in the forest.
