Lily & Nick's Sunset Wedding At Hapuna Beach

Lily and Nick were married at Hapuna Beach this last December 2019. We obtained a special issued beach permit for their wedding due to the size of their wedding party (30+).

Lily and Nick decided to have a 'first look' at the South end of the beach, where the groom could see the bride for the first time. After their first look, this couple ventured down onto the beach with our associate photographers, Elisabeth Stapelton and Marissa Medina to capture some couple's shots.

Lily and Nick had a small processional with just the groom and the bride. The couple opened their ceremony with the traditional blowing of the pu (Hawaiian conch shell) and a Hawaiian Oli Blessing. They started with a simple opening ceremony and then exchanged leis to greet one another as partners in life.

Next, Lily and Nick shared intimate vows and personal words. They continued with a Hawaiian ring blessing and exchange.

The couple next blended a pinch of sand beneath their feet and were pronounced husband and wife!

After getting some group photos, Lily and Nick posed for some sunset photos and were off to enjoy their evening as a newly married couple!
