MAHAIULA BEACH 
BLACK SAND BEACH HAWAII

Although this is a white sand beach, it falls under our Black Sand Beach Hawaii locations due to its off the beaten path and rugged access. Mahai`ula  Beach is the most lovely white sand beach on Hawaii.  This beach requires a 4wd vehicle to access the beach down a 20-30 minute rough road from the state highway. After reaching the parking area, a.5 mile hike to the beach is required. Unlike other locations, couples must apply to Hawaii State 45 days before their weddings to use this location.
