Plan a Hawaii Beach Wedding - At The Beautiful North Kona Beaches Kukio Beach

Some of the most gorgeous and private beaches in West Hawaii are tucked behind the gates of private resorts, who must grant public access to the shoreline.  Many of these beaches are state beaches, such as the magnificent Kukio Beach, accessible via The Four Seasons large public parking area.

Kukio Beach is a long, white sandy beach, broken up by areas of black lava rock and striking green bushes and trees.  The brilliant blue sky and sea backdrop against the sand and greenery provide for an incredible wedding setting at any time of the day.

Since Kukio is located behind a stretch of major resorts, it is not at all crowded like most of Kona’s public beaches.  Weddings can be had here at any time of day. The gentle breezes coming off the shore welcome a pleasant mid-morning or mid-afternoon ceremony just as beautifully as an early morning or sunset ceremony.  It would not be rare if you and your wedding party were the only people on the beach for your entire ceremony.

Beach permits for Kukio Beach can accommodate up to twenty people.  If you are looking to bring along some older family members, up to six chairs can be set up for your ceremony.  No permanent structures can be set up for your ceremony, however, a fresh flower aisle and circle may be created.  You are welcome to have a small table for lovely wedding cake and a sparkling cider toast.  Ceremonies may last up to two hours. Light, unamplified music may be played, such as a guitar, ukulele, or a small speaker.

Kona Wedding Officiant plans intimate beach weddings along the Kona Coast at Kukio Beach and other beautiful locations.  Simple beach ceremonies start at $250 and include your beach permit. To learn more about planning your perfect wedding day in Hawaii, visit http://www.konaweddingofficiant.com
