Lingwei & Jia's Pololu Valley Sunrise Elopement

Lingwei and Jia recently eloped in Hawaii's Pololu Valley. The couple planned for a sunrise elopement, hoping to enjoy beautiful weather and romantic seclusion on Big Island's northern coast. This easy going, adventurous couple received one of their wishes.

Immediately after entering into the valley and capturing a few photographs, we noticed dark, ominous clouds over the horizon. A heavy rain was due and it was about to coat the entire valley.

Leah Wright, one of our associate photographers, set of Lingwei and Jia for some magical beach photographs as the sun rose over the ocean just before the sprinkles began.

Fortunately, Lingwei and Jia came prepared. This adventurous couple was not about to let some rain stop their Pololu elopement wedding.

We prepared for a ceremony in the rain (hoping for it to stop - but it did not).

Lingwei and Jia brought their umbrellas for the ceremony, and we proceeded in the privacy of the valley.

After their ceremony, Lingwei and Jia continued to take more fun shots in the rain throughout the valley, celebrating their new adventure as husband and wife!
